Byron commences a PhD and congratulations are in order!

At the start of 2024, Byron Mobbs was awarded a Dean’s Commendation for Academic Excellence for his outstanding Honours project in the Inflammasome Lab!  Congratulations Byron!!!

This year Byron's research in our lab will continue – now as a PhD candidate! Byron was awarded a Global Challenges Scholarship and in will commence his PhD research titled Inflammasome inhibitors in disease: Is there a therapeutic trade-off of compromised host defence?  

This research is under the supervision of Sabrina Sofia Burgener (Principal) and Kate Schroder (Associate).
